Welcome to the Hurricane Crush Run Presented by Little Caesars to benefit the Meeks Mountain Trail Alliance. Join us on Saturday, February 4th, for the Crush Run Trail 10 miler, 5k run or hike, and Kids Run. All proceeds go to support further development and maintenance of Meeks Mountain Trails Alliance.
Get Ready to Crush it and catch a glimpse of what the Hurricane Crush Run is all about!
Packet pickup on Friday, February 3rd, from 5-7:00 pm and again on Saturday morning from 8-10:00, February 4th, at Hurricane City Park’s big red barn. All race participants in the 10 miler, 5k, and kids run can pick up their packets at that time. After 10:00 on Saturday morning, packets will be available for pickup at the starting line in the back of the bowl. There will be signs directing you to the start line.
Bathrooms are available in the park, and portable restrooms will be available at the Start/Finish.
All races begin in the bowl. You will cross active train tracks to get to the start/finish, so beware and be careful.
Plan for an extra 15 minutes to walk to the start/finish line.
The 10 miler has a 3-hour time limit, and the last aid station will close at 11:30.
Water and sports drink are available on the course. The 5k and kids run will have one aid station, and the 10 miler will have access to an aid station 3 times.
Swag and Finish Line
Every runner gets the coveted MMTA Crush Run Buff, tote, and finisher award. Expect a finish line bon fire, marshmallows, Orange and Grape Crush, and plenty of hot and ready pizza from our friends at Little Caesars.
The 10 miler, 5k and Kids Run all begin and end at the new Huntington Federal Shelter at the back of the bowl which is a 10 minute walk from the parking lot at Hurricane City Park.
10 Miler- From the Huntington Federal Shelter follow pink flags to Tol Flow, Art and Lola, StoneStreetz, Quick Sands, Adam Bomb, Win Jarrel, Star Spangled Stevens, Lindy Land, Lyles Mile, Bad Benches and then follow Red/White back to the bowl. Aid stations will be at approximately 2.5 miles, 7 miles, and 8.5 miles. Refer to the course tab for a Garmin Connect link.
5k- From the Huntington Federal Shelter follow pink flags to Tol Flow, Art and Lola and then follow the Red/White loop clockwise. The aid station will be at the 1 mile mark.
Kids Run- From the Huntington Federal Shelter follow pink flags to Tol Flow and then Art and Lola back the bowl, City Street and follow the gravel road to the finish line.

Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall for both male and female in the 10 miler and 5k.
Awards for the 1st place Crush Two Person Teams in both the half marathon and 5k.
Age group awards for 1st and 2nd for 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 and over.
The Kids Run is a fun run with unique finisher awards.

Safety and EMT will be on call for emergency situations.
Registration is limited to 100 runners for the 10 miler and 100 runners for the 5k.
Thanks to our generous local sponsors the early bird pricing for the kids run is only $10, the 5k is $25 and the 10 miler is $40 up until November 31st. Between December 1st and February 1st registration fees are $10, $35, and $50. Registrations are final and there are no refunds.

Run with your Crush
Enter as a two-person team and compete for the lowest overall time for the Half Marathon and 5K. The two finishing times will be added together to determine the team time. Pricing will remain the same as above.

Please keep our trails clean and do not litter. If you take it on the trail, take it off the trail.
The trails are open to all users during the race, so beware of your surroundings and the hikers, runners, and mountain bikers that may come from ahead or behind of you. Please, no headphones.
Please be courteous and polite to all volunteers and your fellow runners.
Refunds and deferrals
This is a winter race in February so expect winter conditions. There are no refunds and no deferrals. Please don’t ask.
