Rock ‘N The Knob Trail Challenge has broken the will of many as you repeatedly ascend Blue Knob, a broad dome summit that is the northernmost 3,000-footer in the Allegheny Mountains. As Pennsylvania’s Highest Race, not only is Rock ‘N The Knob one of the Mid-Atlantic region’s most physically demanding races with more than 250 feet of climbing per mile on your legs, but our sadistic race director have embedded challenges that are designed to “mess with the heads, hearts and quads” of even the most seasoned trail runner.
